VENT ACCESS DEPLOYMENT & EXTRACTION

In December of 2020, IPOZ successfully delivered to Chevron a purpose-built ROV for ballast tank inspections. The device was designed to be placed in the vent piping of a floating facility at the topside, be transported through the vent pipe into a ballast tank, release, perform an inspection, and recovery by the transport device to the topside. The goal of which was to effectively eliminate critical personal safety risks, minimize operational costs and ensure consistency in inspection data.
