Drawing on a history of integrated technology developments for the oil & gas markets, the IPOZ Systems (IPOZ) team announces a new line of products to advance their underwater offerings. With a backbone built on autonomy, hyper-efficient power usage, scaled downsize and robotic integration, the suite of new products is aimed at reducing costs and enhancing operational efficiency across a broad spectrum of industry spaces.

Driving this development revolution, is industry vet and now Managing Director of IPOZ, Colin Crichton.  As the Founder and CEO of previously acquired company, C.D. Limited (CDL), a subsea inertial navigation specialist group, Colin is using his experience to take things at IPOZ even further.

“We envision a future driven by augmented intelligence, less people offshore and more smart tools - empowering positive disruptive change throughout the industries in which we work. We are transitioning the group’s development strategy from inertial focused technology to create products that solve our client’s specific needs. While listening to the marketplace, the goal is to solve problems cleverly - shrinking size and reducing power consumption while maintaining performance and reducing exposure for our customers. We are actively involved in creating multiple products that fulfill our future vision.” – Colin Crichton, Managing Director

Based on the platforms currently being used around the world in industries such as confined space inspection, aquaculture, environmental monitoring, port security and more, the new line of IPOZ products will provide a new unparalleled sense of stability with best-in-class design aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.

The new suite of intelligent products can be expected to be depth rated up to 1,000 meters to better serve the oceanographic and offshore markets looking to efficiently complete inspections.

The design of the first new product offering, the TriKam, incorporates IPOZ’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) functionality reducing human error in manual data entry and redundant tasks by automatically logging specific data in operations. One of the crowning achievements of IPOZ’s new camera is the real-time disparity mapping, the TriKam’s point clouds can provide ranging and scaling of the scene in front of the operator.  This also aids in navigation and situational awareness by providing direct scene depth feedback to the ROV operator that they have never had.

Interested parties can experience the IPOZ product difference themselves by booking an on-site demonstration at the IPOZ local Katy, Texas office.  Digital demonstrations are also available upon request.

The IPOZ suite of new products are a combination of emerging technologies, working as an integrated device designed to disrupt subsea operations. By developing these tools our goal is to provide comprehensive cost-effective solutions that are easily installed on existing vehicles while delivering unparalleled results in a timely manner thereby reducing vessel time and delivering the data needed to make informed decisions.
