About Damien

Damien Goodyear leads the D.A.S family of companies in their international offshore operations. He joined the group in October 2019 as Managing Director of affiliate D.A.S. family company, Discovery Blue, with the goal of early engagement with industry players in order to optimize operations from a foundational stage within a project. Working together with in house technology and development group IPOZ, Damien extends his technology expertise to the team with experiential knowhow from the field. With a developed core understanding of operations offshore, Damien is able to recommend solutions to both the client and help direct the efforts of the internal IPOZ team to create products that actually solve problems.

With over two decades of oil and gas industry experience, specifically in offshore engineering and construction support, his background includes several awards and key positions in companies such as Technip, UTEC Survey, Serimax, Furgo Jacques Geosurvey, Fairview Investments - Construction Division and Hawco King Renouf Ltd., Investments.

Damien holds a degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology from College of the North Atlantic, Newfoundland, Canada and he is part of the Association of Engineering Technicians and Technologist of Newfoundland and Labrador.
